You said that when sucrose is actively transported into the sink cell water potential in sieve tube elements decreases, won’t it increase as more sucrose is being actively transported from the sieve tube elements into the sink cells so less sucrose to lower the water potential?

I don't get how the water potential is so high at the bottom of the loop of Henle. So much water has left from the descending limb due to the Na+ in the interstitial space decreasing water potential, Yet the water potential still increases INSIDE the descending limb to 1200?

So do we not need to know the steps of meiosis?😊
